What is a Cerebral Ischemic Stroke Physician Response?

The word “cerebral ischemia” is the medical name given to ischemia that occurs with acute hemorrhagic, rheumatic, or diuretic strokes. Cerebral ischemia is a condition that can be either acute or chronic. Acute ischemic stroke is usually the result of a blood clot (thrombus) that was not able to dissolve in the bloodstream prior to the stroke. Whereas, chronic ischemic stroke is a result of the hemorrhage occurring inside of the brain, specifically in the blood vessels (artery and jugular veins).

Cerebral Ischemic Stroke

The question that is often asked is,

“What is a cerebral ischemia (or ischemic) stroke.” This is a very good question. Stroke is a condition that can be divided into two main categories. One is ischemic stroke, which is a blood clot or hemorrhage that occurs in cerebral ischemia. The second is called hemorrhagic stroke, which is bleeding from the hemorrhagic (blood clot) in the brain.

There are many different types of cerebral ischemia and they include,

  1. ischemic stroke,
  2. ischemic neuropathy,
  3. ischemic palsy,
  4. cervical dystonia,
  5. head injuries,
  6. multiple sclerosis,
  7. stroke (paralysis),
  8. spinal cord injury,
  9. seizures, alcohol abuse,
  10. drug abuse,
  11. viral infections

and a host of others. Each of these conditions has different treatments as well as its own individual risk factors. The question remains, “what is a cerebral-infarction stroke?”

The answer is not simple.

When a person has an ischemic stroke, it does not mean that they will suffer a stroke at some future date. Strokes can occur even at very young ages. If a person has a family history of strokes, it is more likely that they will suffer one in their life but what is a Cerebro-ischemia stroke is still unknown. Even doctors do not know for sure what causes the ischemic stroke.

Some doctors believe that it is due to a blood clot in the brain that happens after a person is an ischemic stroke. This is a theory that is not backed by any hard facts and doctors are not quite sure what to base their treatment on. Many patients with ischemic strokes show no symptoms. After a period of time they may have some problems and if these problems are severe enough surgery can be performed to remove part of the skull or maybe the brain itself. Sometimes surgery is unnecessary and other times it is the result of the patient’s failure to respond to treatment.

A Cerebro-ischemia stroke physician’s response

Is to treat the patient as though they have a stroke. The treatment is similar to the treatment of people who have a stroke. Electrolysis is a procedure that is often used but it is very risky and expensive. The effects of ischemic strokes can be prevented and reversed with the use of medicines like carnitine, beta-alanine, N-acetyl muramic acid, and N-acetylglucosamine. These medicines are taken in combination with what is known as an ischemic stroke therapy.

If you have been diagnosed with what is a cerebral ischemic stroke you will want to seek the advice of a professional who is trained to deal with these types of cases on a daily basis. You should find a medical doctor who deals specifically with ischemic stroke. There is no reason to feel bad if you have had an injury that has caused this type of medical problem. The treatments are the same whether you have a mild or severe injury. You can live with your disability if you get the right medical care.

The importance of finding a specialist who deals specifically with what is a Cerebro-ischemia stroke cannot be stressed enough. In most cases, a Cerebro-ischemia stroke victim needs extensive medical care. The effects of ischemic strokes can be prevented and reversed with the use of medications like carnitine, beta-alanine, N-acetyl muramic acid, and N-acetylglucosamine. These medicines are taken in combination.
